Review: Outlander

Outlander
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Why did I wait so long to read this? Maybe I judged a book by its cover, or found the premise overdone. Maybe I kept skimming it over for quick, instant-gratification reads that never quite satisfied. I may never know, but I'm glad that this series has now come into my life.

I love the characters. I love the mystery. I love the realistic way that old love fades and new love builds. I just love it all, is that so wrong?

As I'm on a self-induced book buying hiatus at the moment I'm wringing my hands on the e-book hold list with my local library. If whomever is reading it currently sees this could you, pretty please with a Highlander on top, read faster? Okaythanksbye!

Not to worry, girl.
Upstairs, you'll have puh-lenty of time to read.

High, girl!
Wouldn’t ya love an endless eternity of aplomBombs
falling on thy indelible, magnificent, vigilant cranium?
An XtraXcitinXpose with no
zooillogical-expiration-date,
with an IQ much higher than K2,
and an extraordinarily, sawcy, rowdy victory??
Here’s what the prolific GODy sed:
(what could be MOE exciting than the 3-Stooges??)

“Faith, hope, and love,
the greatest of these is love -
jumpy into faith...
and you'll see with love”
Doesn’t matter if you don’t believe
(what I write);
God believes in you.
