Music Monday

Hmmm, I think by the time we get to the end of April you'll think I was brought up with a biased view of music. Not so at all; however, my father was something of a hippie, and my tastes from this generation reflect him, as I tend to take after him in most areas.

This week I give a classic from a classic...The Who performing "Pinball Wizard". Enjoy!

Music Monday

During the month of April I'll be bringing you music from the 60s. A mere decade before my time, I grew up with this music...sitting at my dad's feet in the evenings while he played his acoustic guitar and sang, listening to the radio in the car, even listening to 8-tracks in our dining room! I'm pretty sure that my parents even still have a functioning 8-track player in their garage.
The first selection is by Lovin' Spoonful, and is from the summer of 1966...which is the year my father graduated from high school. My favorite sleep shirt when I was small was a lemon yellow Lovin' Spoonful t-shirt with groovy flower power lettering, man...
